Alanis in a new film "Pittsburgh"

Michael Moore's second film festival will be headlined by a mock-documentary produced by Jeff Goldblum and the latest comedy from Woody Allen.

The Oscar-winning filmmaker is the founder of the Traverse City Film Festival, which drew 50,000 admissions last summer in the northern Michigan resort town.

This summer, the July 31-Aug. 6 festival includes the Midwest premiere of those movies, the showing of more than 60 films, panels with the actors and filmmakers and an outdoor 65-foot screen featuring older flicks.

Goldblum's film Pittsburgh, will kick off the festival on July 31 at the State Theatre.

The deadpan comedy stars Goldblum playing himself as an actor who puts his Hollywood career on hold to act alongside his new girlfriend in a Pittsburgh regional theater production of The Music Man. Illeana Douglas, Ed Begley Jr. and musicians Moby and Alanis Morissette also are in the movie.

Alanis And Ryan Reynolds Call It Quits?!

After a two-year engagement and no sign of a wedding, singer Alanis Morissette and actor Ryan Reynolds have apparently broken up.

People and Us Weekly reported news of the split, but there's been no response from either parties or the singer's family.

The couple haven't been photographed together since February, and Us suspects that both Reynolds and Morissette are seeing other people. One source told the magazine that the 29-year-old Reynolds is dating a personal trainer and had been "sending flirty emails to a female friend" and "isn't acting like a man who's engaged." Ironically, Morissette has been linked with a relationship coach.

Morissette and Reynolds first met in 2002 at actress Drew Barrymore's birthday party and became a couple soon after. They were engaged in 2004, shortly after Morissette's June 1 birthday, when Reynolds secretly obtained her father's permission before popping the question. The Ottawa native had told the Ottawa Sun that she had a million ideas for her wedding, and joked about holding a public ceremony on Parliament Hill.

Morissette didn't let on that there were any problems with her relationship in an interview with the London Guardian three weeks ago. "I thought a few months ago we'd be married by now," she said.

"I hadn't realized how complicated it was to pull off a wedding, but I already feel like he's my husband. I call him my husband."

Speculation about the split intensified this week when a journal entry on Morissette's website included information about her latest work but left out any mention of her beau. She introduced the post by saying "so many things unfolding, percolating, bubbling up, hard to know where to begin…" and later referenced her newest love, a Triumph motorcycle and obtaining a licence to drive it.

The 32-year-old singer just completed a one-week run portraying death row survivor Sunny Jacobs in The Exonerated in London, England. She has a new CD and a book scheduled to come out this year.
